Hackamore Short Shank

A hackamore is a bit that works on pressure points on the horse's face and poll, without the horse having anything in it's mouth.

It gives the rider control without a steel bit in the horse's mouth.

This hackamore has short steel shanks with an adjustable padded fleece noseband and an adjustable steel/webbing curb chain.

The shorter shanks exert less pressure on the poll than longer shanks, and give the rider a quicker action when they use their reins

It is popular with show jumpers and endurance riders.

Can be used for horses who have injuries in their mouths
