When to Use Overreach Boots

Overreach boots are essential for horses that clip their front heels with their hind hooves during work. This is common in jumping, fast canter work, and turnout. Pull-on rubber boots offer reliable protection.

Fitting Tip

Choose a size that sits snug around the pastern with the rubber lip resting just above the heel bulbs. Too loose and the boot may spin; too tight and it can rub. Stretch the boot gently over the hoof, they soften with use.
