Eggbutt Lock & Swivel

Many snaffle bits collapse into a “V” shape when the reins are used, but this bit forms a soft “U” shape that does not dig into the roof of your horse's mouth, making the bit more comfortable for your horse. This unique curved shape also allows for more room for the tongue when the bit is in a neutral position

The 2 sides of the bit can swivel as well - giving the rider independent control of each side of the bit.  This prevents the horse from hanging on one side.

Useful in training a young horse, general riding, and the beginning stages of dressage

How it works: Like most snaffle bits the action is on the bars of the mouth.
The shape of the cheeks prevents the bit from pinching the horse's lips.

The roller link reduces nutcracker action, has a more even pressure over the bars, and allows independent control over the two sides of the mouth.
There is no curb or leverage action, making this a mild bit.

Curved mouth piece allows more space for the tongue and reduces the nutcracker action.
Good for horse's with large tongues and shallow palettes.
