Shaped for McLellan Saddles
This girth is made to work with the McLellan saddle design: the dee rings at each end connect to your saddle's McLellan girth straps rather than buckling straight onto the girth points. The tubular construction keeps ridges and seams away from the skin, so your horse stays comfortable on long endurance and trail rides.
Sizing Guide
Girths are measured end to end — the full length — and sizes step up in 2-inch (5cm) increments. This is a short McLellan girth that connects to your saddle's girth straps, so size it against the McLellan girth you are already using rather than measuring right around your horse's barrel. Adjustment comes from the girth straps, not from the girth itself.

Care & Storage
- Wipe down with a damp cloth after every ride
- Every few weeks, rinse the neoprene under cool water and air-dry flat, out of direct sun
- Store it hanging or lying flat rather than rolled tight — it keeps its shape better between rides
- Check the stitching at the dee rings regularly

How to measure your girth:
Girths are measured from the end of the buckle to the end of the buckle (the full length) and vary in size by 2 inches (5cm)
If you don't have a tape measure on hand you can use a piece of string to get the needed length and measure the string afterwards.
If you don't have an old girth to measure, then you can measure for a new girth by placing your numnah and saddle on your horse, and measuring from halfway up the girth point, around the tummy, to halfway up the next girth point.
You ideally want to have 2 holes adjustment up, and 1 extra hole for adjusting down on the girth points.
As a very basic rule of thumb:
14-15 hands = 42 - 44"
15-16 hands = 46 - 48" GP girth and 26" dressage girth
16-17 hands = 48 - 54"
