Stop your horse from snatching at the bit or stretching down to graze mid-ride. These anti grazing reins (also known as grass reins) attach from the saddle, run through rings on the bridle and clip to the bit, so the horse self-corrects every time it tries to drop its head.

How They Work

When the horse drops its head to grab a mouthful of grass, the anti grazing rein tightens against the bit and the horse pulls himself in the mouth, so he lifts his head again. A humane training aid for a horse or pony with a grazing habit.

Fitting Notes

Fit once the bit is in place. Allow enough length for the horse to flex at the poll comfortably, but not enough to reach the ground. Always supervise the first ride to check the horse responds correctly.
