DESCRIPTION
The German martingale, also known as a market harborough, is designed to teach your horse to give to the bit, flex at the poll, and maintain a good vertical and lateral head position. A trusted training aid for encouraging correct carriage without harsh correction.
How It Works
The martingale section splits between the horse's front legs, passes up through the bit rings, and clips back onto the reins. This gives you precise control over head positioning whilst keeping the aids firmly in your hands. It also discourages rearing.
