Action Chains (Pr)

A pair of metal ankle chains designed to encourage a higher, more animated step in your horse's gait. Action chains are a long-standing training aid used by Saddlebred, Hackney and other show breed handlers to develop and refine the high-stepping action that defines these disciplines.

How They Work

Worn around the front pasterns, the slight weight and gentle contact of the chain encourages the horse to lift each foot higher with every stride. Over consistent training sessions, the horse becomes more aware of its leg action, building the muscle memory needed for an elegant, elevated gait.

Best Used With
