Leather Dye 100ml — Recolour & Restore Tack
Refresh, restore or completely transform your leather with this high-quality, long-lasting leather dye. Designed to penetrate deeply into the fibres, it bonds with the leather rather than sitting on the surface, giving rich, even colour in a flexible finish that moves with the hide. A staple in any tack room or leatherworker's kit.
Key Features
- Vibrant, long-lasting colour that won't crack or peel
- Deep-penetrating formula for an even, professional finish
- Suitable for all smooth leathers — saddles, bridles, shoes, bags and upholstery
- Quick drying and easy to apply with a sponge or brush
- Revives faded leather and covers scuffs and wear marks
- Available in Black and Brown to match most tack and footwear
Quick Tip
Always test on the underside of a girth strap or a discreet panel first. Dye penetrates differently across hides, and the true colour only shows once the patch has dried completely, so let it dry fully before you commit to the full saddle.
How to Use
- Clean the leather surface thoroughly with a leather cleaner or saddle soap before application, and let it dry completely.
- Apply the dye evenly using a sponge or brush, working in thin layers.
- Allow each coat to dry before applying the next for a deeper, more uniform finish.
- Once dry, buff lightly with a soft cloth and seal with a leather dressing or conditioner to finish and protect the surface.
