How It Works

The hanging cheek design creates a small amount of leverage, resulting in less poll pressure compared to other leverage bits. Because the mouthpiece cannot move or rotate on the rings, it lies more quietly in the horse's mouth — much like an eggbutt snaffle.

The elliptical link in the centre reduces the harsh nutcracker action of a single-jointed bit, distributing pressure more evenly over the bars and allowing the rider to communicate independently with each side of the mouth.
