Girth Loop Solo

A simple, hard-wearing webbing loop with a metal ring on the end, used to attach a running martingale, training aid or clip-on running reins to your girth.

What it does

The girth loop slips onto the girth and gives you a fixed ring to clip equipment to. It is the standard way to fit a running martingale or training aid without needing a martingale that loops over the girth itself.

How to fit it

• For a martingale or training aid, place the loop in the centre of the girth, between the horse's legs, with the ring facing forwards.
• For clip-on running reins, use a pair of loops fitted to the sides of the girth.
