Electrolyte Recharge Pellets for Horses

A balanced formulation offering optimum mineral ratios which assist in replenishing vital body fluids and electrolytes lost due to strenuous exercise or travel.

Electrolytes are a critical factor in regulating muscle function, fluid balance and re-hydration. Deficits can result in fatigue, skeletal muscle dysfunction and severe metabolic disturbances. Feeding electrolytes will prompt the horse to consume more water whilst supplementing essential minerals.

Feeding Recommendations

Mix into daily feed before and after exercise:

• Horses in work: 60–120g depending on body weight
• Horses in transit: 60–90g depending on body weight

• Potassium: 62.5g/kg
• Moisture (max): 50g/kg
• Magnesium: 22.7g/kg

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep the bag closed after use.
