What Are Electrolytes?

Electrolytes are minerals dissolved in the blood and tissues of the body. They help regulate fluid balance, nerve signalling and muscle function. Horses lose electrolytes daily through sweat and urine, and losses climb sharply during strenuous work, hot weather or long travel.

Signs Your Horse Needs Electrolytes

Dosage
