Electrolytes are a critical factor in regulating muscle function, fluid balance and rehydration. Deficits can result in fatigue, skeletal muscle dysfunction and severe metabolic disturbances. Feeding electrolytes will prompt the horse to consume more water whilst supplementing essential minerals.
