How It Works
Like most snaffle bits, the action is on the bars of the mouth. The shape of the cheeks stops the bit pinching the horse's lips. The jointed mouthpiece has a mild nutcracker effect when engaged, pressing on the tongue and the roof of the mouth. With no curb or leverage action, it stays gentle.
