A strong, substantial braided cotton lead rope with a chain end, built for extra control when handling stronger or more boisterous horses. The thick cotton braid stays soft in the hand even under a hard pull.

Using the Chain Correctly

For everyday leading, clip the chain to the halter as normal. For more control, run the chain over or under the nose, or through the mouth. Apply pressure with a quick ask-and-release rather than a constant pull, and release the moment the horse responds.

Care

Brush off dried mud and keep the chain clean and free of grit so it runs smoothly. Wash the cotton braid by hand if needed and hang to dry.
