Girth Western Leather Solo

This is a back girth for a western saddle.

Made from strong South African leather and lined with felt for comfort and padding. 

This girth is sold with a leather strap to attach the girth to the string / front girth.  This is to keep the back girth connected to the front girth at the correct place under the horse's stomach, so it does not slide too far back to cause the horse discomfort.

This back girth should not be girthed up too tightly, as it may be uncomfortable and cause the horse to buck!

Mostly used to keep the saddle secure for mountainous trail riding, barrel racing, steer roping and any other fast paced western games.

Get the horse used to it first by starting out with it loose and gradually over time tightening it.
