DESCRIPTION
The Solo comfort dressage girth is made from a soft equiprene comfort material, and it's anatomic shape allows better freedom of movement and alleviates pressure points. Lined with fleece for superior comfort for your horse
It is ergonomically shaped.
The benefits of this are:
- It allows the horse more freedom of movement
- Prevents rubbing
- Places less pressure on the horse's sensitive tummy
- The wider band distributes the pressure more evenly and over a larger area
- The narrower sides allow more space for the leg to move backwards
Both buckle ends are elasticated - giving the girth a slight stretch. This makes girthing up easier and more comfortable for the horse, and allows for a better fit.
The girth is lined with a soft fleece to give your horse superior comfort and to prevent any rubbing or chafing, and to prevent any pressure points
There is a nylon strap above the buckles to hold the stirrup leather in place and keep it looking neat. The ends of the stirrup leathers can then be tucked into the girth underneath the buckles.
Dees on both sides allow for many different training aids and uses for this girth
Low maintenance and easy to clean - No oiling needed - just wipe clean with a damp cloth

How to measure your girth:
Girths are measured from the end of the buckle to the end of the buckle (the full length) and vary in size by 2 inches (5cm)
If you don't have a tape measure on hand you can use a piece of string to get the needed length and measure the string afterwards.
If you don't have an old girth to measure, then you can measure for a new girth by placing your numnah and saddle on your horse, and measuring from halfway up the girth point, around the tummy, to halfway up the next girth point.
You ideally want to have 2 holes adjustment up, and 1 extra hole for adjusting down on the girth points.
As a very basic rule of thumb:
14-15 hands = 42 - 44"
15-16 hands = 46 - 48" GP girth and 26" dressage girth
16-17 hands = 48 - 54"
