This versatile wipe-on or spray-on repellent is effective against house flies and stable flies, and also kills ticks and mosquitoes — essential for South African conditions where tick-borne illness and fly worry can ruin a horse's day.

How to Use

Apply as a spot treatment spray on problem areas (face, ears, belly, legs), or use as a total body protection spray for full coverage before a ride or turnout. Safe for immediate riding or work after application — no waiting period required. For sensitive skin, wipe on with a sponge or cloth rather than spraying directly.

Spray vs Wipe — Which Application to Use

• Full-body spray — fastest method for routine summer turnout. Mist with the lay of the hair, holding the bottle far enough back to cover evenly without soaking the coat
• Wipe-on with a cloth — best for the face, ears, eyes and around the muzzle, where spraying frightens most horses and risks the product getting into eyes
• Spot treatment — for ticks on the belly, sheath or chest, apply directly to the tick and surrounding skin with a soaked cotton pad
• Pre-ride application — apply before tacking up and allow the coat to settle so the product doesn't transfer onto the saddle pad
• For sensitive or thin-skinned horses — always wipe rather than spray, and patch-test on a small patch of skin first
