- Low maintenance and easy to clean
- Available in sizes 28", 30" and 32"
Shaped for McLellan Saddles
This girth is specifically designed to work with the McLellan saddle design, ensuring a snug and secure fit where the girth straps sit further forward. The tubular construction eliminates pressure points and seams, keeping your horse comfortable on long endurance and trail rides.
Sizing Guide
Measure from the front edge of the girth buckle (with the saddle girthed up) to the same point on the opposite side. Choose the size closest to that measurement — if between sizes, size up to allow room for adjustment.
Care & Storage
- Wipe down with a damp cloth after every ride — sweat and grit cake faster on neoprene than on leather
- Every few weeks, rinse the neoprene section under cool water and air-dry flat, away from direct sun
- Don't store wet or rolled tight — neoprene takes a set, and creases become permanent pressure points
- Inspect the buckle stitching and dee rings monthly; the join between leather tabs and neoprene is the high-wear point
- Hang on a girth rack rather than draping over a stable door — keeps the shape true between rides

SIZE CHART

How to measure your girth:
Girths are measured from the end of the buckle to the end of the buckle (the full length) and vary in size by 2 inches (5cm)
If you don't have a tape measure on hand you can use a piece of string to get the needed length and measure the string afterwards.
If you don't have an old girth to measure, then you can measure for a new girth by placing your numnah and saddle on your horse, and measuring from halfway up the girth point, around the tummy, to halfway up the next girth point.
You ideally want to have 2 holes adjustment up, and 1 extra hole for adjusting down on the girth points.
As a very basic rule of thumb:
14-15 hands = 42 - 44"
15-16 hands = 46 - 48" GP girth and 26" dressage girth
16-17 hands = 48 - 54"
