DESCRIPTION
Barnsby Cheek Protector
Mostly used on racehorses to prevent them lifting their tongue over the bit. It buckles onto the headpiece, running down the centre of the face, then divides and goes on either side of the bit.
How It Works
The action of lifting the bit reduces pressure on the horse's mouth, while preventing the bit from pinching or rubbing.
