The Rug Turnout Solo is a heavyweight 350g fill duvet rug designed to keep your horse warm, dry and comfortable when paddock conditions turn cold and wet. The contoured cut and shoulder pleats give freedom of movement, while waterproof, windproof outer fabric handles whatever the weather throws at it.

When to Use It

The Solo turnout rug is your go-to for horses that live out or have extended turnout in winter. The 350g fill is heavy enough for SA Highveld frost while still being practical for milder coastal climates when layered correctly. Pair it with a stable rug or under-rug for very cold nights, or use on its own through the day.

Care Instructions

Hose off any heavy mud after use, then machine wash at 30°C with a rug-specific detergent. Reproof the waterproof outer once or twice a season to maintain water repellence. Store dry to prevent mildew.
