
DESCRIPTION
Panthox is an antibiotic spray for the treatment of wounds and skin infections in all animals.
Panthox contains oxytetracycline, an antibiotic active against a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive organisms. It also contains gentian violet, a mild antiseptic which also acts as a marker, plus d-Panthenol to aid healing.

What it treats
Panthox is widely used in South African yards for cuts, abrasions, girth galls, saddle sores and skin infections. It is also a go-to treatment for footrot — pair regular spraying with thorough hoof care for the best results.
Directions for use
Shake the can before use. Clean the site of infection by removing debris (dead tissue, dried blood, etc) and spray for a few seconds over the whole infected area. For footrot treatment, inspect and pare the hoof beforehand. Treat once or twice a day until healing is complete.
