How It Works

Beta-Alanine is the precursor to Carnosine, a dipeptide that buffers hydrogen ions in muscle tissue during intense exercise. Higher muscle Carnosine levels delay the drop in muscle pH that causes fatigue. Sodium Citrate adds an alkalising effect, further supporting acid-base balance during high-intensity work.

Loading Window

Beta-Alanine builds up cumulatively in muscle tissue — visible results typically appear from week 4 onward as Carnosine levels climb. Start the horse on Neutralac Plus 4–6 weeks before a target competition or campaign for full benefit, then keep feeding throughout the season.
