Why Add a Neck Blanket

Many turnout rugs and stable rugs leave the neck exposed, which is where horses lose heat fastest. Adding a neck cover keeps the topline and crest warm, helps clipped horses retain condition through winter, and reduces rug rub at the withers by sharing the load with the rug itself.

Fitting and Care

Adjust the velcro straps so the blanket sits comfortably behind the ears without pulling on the poll. Check daily for rubs, particularly along the mane line. Wash on a cool cycle and air dry to protect the cotton outer and padded inner.
