DESCRIPTION
Joint Pro Maintenance — Daily Horse Joint Supplement
Joint Pro Maintenance is a daily horse joint supplement containing Undenatured Collagen Type II (UC-II), a superior collagen type for joint health when compared to other collagen types.
The synergistic effect of carefully selected ingredients, including Methyl-sulfonyl-methane (MSM), aids with inhibiting enzymes that degrade cartilage and promotes the production of synovial fluid in the joints. It stimulates GAG (Glycosaminoglycans) synthesis, thus reducing ECM (Extracellular Matrix) degradation and slowing disease progression.
Key Benefits
- Reduces pro-inflammatory mediators in the joint
- Assists with cartilage regeneration
- Reduces joint pain and discomfort
- Increases functionality and mobility in joints
- Contains MSM for additional anti-inflammatory support
When to Start a Daily Joint Supplement
- Ageing horses (mid-teens onward) where wear-and-tear starts to show as morning stiffness
- Sport horses in regular work — prevention is cheaper than treatment
- Recovery from a joint injury or layoff, once cleared by your vet
- Horses on hard or uneven ground where concussion loads are higher
- Young performance horses (4–6 years) starting more demanding work
Joint Pro Maintenance is built for daily, long-term use — start now rather than waiting for visible stiffness, as supporting cartilage is easier than rebuilding it.
Why UC-II Collagen?
Undenatured Type II Collagen works through oral tolerance — small daily doses help the immune system recognise joint collagen as "self" and stop attacking it. This is a different mechanism to glucosamine and chondroitin, which act as joint building blocks. The two approaches complement each other, which is why Joint Pro Maintenance combines them.
