Kerckhaert SSP horseshoes, mostly used for hacking, jumping and dressage. Sold as a pair, these unclipped shoes are punched for E-type nails and are made in both front and hind patterns, in sizes 000 to 3. The broadness of the steel makes this a very versatile shoe.

Front vs Hind Shoes

Front shoes are more popular than hinds, as some horses are shod in front only and the front hooves take more wear. If you are unsure which pattern you need, speak to your farrier before ordering.

Each size is listed separately as a front or a hind pattern, so a horse being shod all round needs a front pair and a hind pair.

Nails for These Shoes

These shoes are punched for E type nails. Stock up on E type nails in boxes of 250 or 500, or keep a packet of 32 nails on hand as a top-up between shoeings.
