DESCRIPTION
This is the ideal schooling whip — a lightweight 90cm crop that lets you reinforce your leg aids without changing your contact on the horse's mouth or taking your hands off the reins.
Why riders choose this schooling crop
At 90cm, this crop is long enough to reach behind your leg from the saddle. It's a practical everyday tool for schooling, dressage warm-ups, and reinforcing leg aids on a green or sticky horse.
Key features
- 90cm overall length — versatile for schooling and dressage
- Wrist loop, which can be cut off easily if you don't need it
- Lightweight shaft
How to use it
Carry the crop in your inside hand when schooling on a circle, and apply a single light tap behind your leg as a back-up to your leg aid — never as a punishment. Used correctly, a schooling crop sharpens responsiveness without overriding the rein contact.
