DESCRIPTION
Blood Boost is a concentrated vitamin, iron, and mineral supplement that supports normal blood cell health, oxygen transportation, and energy maintenance in horses. Formulated to meet performance demands, it supplies iron, antioxidants, and other essential components to cells.
Key Benefits
- Supports healthy red blood cell production and oxygen delivery
- Boosts energy and stamina for horses in work
- Rich in iron (11 666 mg/l), zinc, B-vitamins, and folic acid
- Contains Vitamins A, D, and E for overall health
- Suitable for horses in training, competition, or recovery
Signs Your Horse May Benefit
- Lethargy or unusually slow recovery after work
- Loss of performance edge despite training and feed remaining the same
- Recovery period after illness, injury or blood loss (vet-led)
- Heavy training blocks where iron and B-vitamin demand spikes
- Horses pulled up from long lay-ups being brought back into work
Pale gums, dark urine or persistent lethargy should always be checked by your vet before starting an iron supplement — Blood Boost supports recovery alongside a diagnosis, not in place of one.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a vet to use Blood Boost?
Blood Boost is available over the counter, but iron supplementation should always follow a diagnosis. Get bloods drawn before starting — supplementing iron in a horse that doesn't need it can be counterproductive.
How long should a course last?
The label recommends 15 to 30 day periods. Most yards run a 30-day course around heavy training blocks or post-illness, then re-test bloods before deciding whether to continue.
Will it boost performance in a healthy horse?
No. Iron and B-vitamins only translate to better stamina if the horse is actually deficient. In a well-fed horse on a balanced diet, extra iron offers no edge — and excess iron can interfere with copper and zinc absorption.
