Western Leather Back Girth

This rear cinch helps keep a western saddle secure during mountainous trail riding, barrel racing, steer roping and other fast-paced western games. It is supplied with a leather connector strap to attach the back girth to the front girth, holding it in the correct position under the horse's belly so it cannot slide too far back and cause discomfort.

Fitting advice

A back girth should never be girthed up too tightly, as this can be uncomfortable and may cause the horse to buck. Introduce it gradually: start with it loose and tighten it a little over time as the horse gets used to it.
