Cooling Clay contains herbal extracts known for their natural healing properties to combat inflammation and soothe and revitalise muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons. Does not blister.

Directions for Use

1. Cover legs generously and evenly.
2. Wrap legs in plastic wrap.
3. Apply bandage and leave overnight.
4. Remove in the morning with water and a sponge.

Precautions

Do not use on broken skin.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep container closed after use.

How is cooling clay different from a cooling gel?

Clay sets and holds against the leg under a wrap, drawing heat slowly over several hours — ideal overnight after a hard day. A gel rubs in and cools through menthol but evaporates quickly. Use clay for prolonged drawing; use gel for fast post-work cooling.

Can I re-use clay that I scrape off?

No — once it's been on the leg, it's contaminated with sweat, dirt and skin debris. Always take a fresh scoop from the tub and dispose of used clay. This is also why we ship in resealable tubs rather than open buckets.

How long can I leave it on?

Standard practice is overnight — apply after evening yard, wrap, and rinse off in the morning. For shorter sessions, 2 to 4 hours under a wrap is enough to draw heat from a hot tendon.
