Choosing the right size

Measure across the inside base of your stirrup iron from one branch to the other. Match that measurement to the 4½" or 4¾" option above. If your stirrups sit between sizes, go up rather than down — a slightly snug tread will bed in with use.

Fitting

Place the tread on a flat surface, bend it gently, and slot it into the base of the stirrup. The rubber will spring back and sit flush against the metal. No glue, no tools.
