DESCRIPTION
Riempie Leather Lacing
Genuine leather riempie (hide lacing) for re-seating and restoring wooden riempie furniture. Softer and more comfortable to sit on than plastic lacing.
Key Features
- Genuine leather hide lacing, traditionally used for riempie chair and bench seats
- 2m long and 5mm thick
- Pre-treated — no soaking required before use
- Softer and more comfortable than plastic lacing
Why You Should Not Soak It
This riempie is specially treated so it is ready to use straight away. Avoid soaking it: wet leather stretches as you work, then contracts tightly as it dries, which can over-tension and break the furniture.
Care
Keep finished riempie work conditioned with a quality leather dressing to stop it drying out over time. Browse our leather care range to keep it supple.
