Saddle Construction

Tree

The Solo McLellan-style fibreglass tree is specially designed to fit South African horses, including those with higher withers.

Seat & Skirts

Deep, secure seat with cushioned leather for a comfortable ride. Narrow twist suits a range of riders.

Panels

Made from a specialised ripstop material that is durable and repels water and sweat. The underside uses unique "air flow" fabric that wicks away sweat and moulds into place for a perfect fit — spreading weight evenly across the horse's back. Easy to adjust with velcro to suit various wither shapes, and fully removable and replaceable.

Girth & Stirrups

Chafeless contour-shaped comfort fabric with elasticised buckles. Replaceable girth straps secure from front and back to ensure a snug, even-contact saddle fit. Broad-based endurance safety stirrups paired with no-bulk American Biothane stirrup leathers that lie flat under the rider's leg.

Fittings

Ample dee rings for attaching breastplate, saddle bags, and crupper. All parts are sold separately and can be replaced as they wear.
