Tree and Fit

The Solo McLellan-style fibreglass tree is specially designed to fit South African horses, with two stirrup positions to accommodate both tall and short riders. The narrow twist and cushioned leather seat keep the rider comfortable over long distances.

Panels, Flaps and Girthing

The panels are made from a specialised ripstop material that is durable and repels water and sweat — soft and padded for the horse's comfort, and fully removable, replaceable and washable (also sold separately with different colour trims, SAD205P). The swinging-style flaps or fenders are made from the same ripstop material and padded for the rider's legs (replaceable, SAD205F). A chafeless, contour-shaped comfort girth with elasticised buckles is included (GIR035), and the replaceable girth points secure from front and back for a snug, even saddle fit.

Stirrups and Fittings

Broad-based endurance safety stirrups sit on no-bulk nylon stirrup leathers that lie flat under the rider's legs. Ample D-rings let you attach a breastplate, saddle bags and crupper.
