DESCRIPTION
Blood Boost is a concentrated vitamin, iron, and mineral supplement that supports normal blood cell health, oxygen transportation, and energy maintenance in horses. Formulated to meet performance demands, it supplies iron, antioxidants, and other essential components to cells.
Key Benefits
- Supports normal blood cell health and oxygen transportation
- Supports energy maintenance in horses in work
- Rich source of iron (11 666 mg/l), plus zinc, B-vitamins and folic acid
- Contains Vitamins A, D and E
- Bottle has a graduated dosing chamber marked 10 to 50 ml, so the daily dose measures out without extra kit
Before You Start
Iron supplementation is best guided by a diagnosis rather than a hunch. If your horse is lethargic or off form, ask your vet to draw bloods before starting an iron supplement. Blood Boost is registered under Act 36/1947 as a vitamin, iron and mineral supplement, and is intended to support your horse alongside veterinary care rather than in place of it.

Orally administer 25–50 ml daily for 15–30 day periods, or as directed by a veterinarian or animal nutritionist.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a vet to use Blood Boost?
Blood Boost is registered under Act 36/1947 and is available over the counter. Iron supplementation is still best guided by a blood test, so speak to your vet before starting a course.
How long should a course last?
The label recommends 15 to 30 day periods, or as directed by a veterinarian or animal nutritionist, who can advise whether to continue after a course.
Will it boost performance in a healthy horse?
Iron and B-vitamins support normal blood cell health and energy maintenance. They are not a performance enhancer in a horse that is already well fed and not deficient, which is why bloods before starting are worth the money.
