Reinforced breathing holes
A feeding bag is a bagthat fits around the horse's head. You fill it with feed / fodder and the horse can access it's own food at any stage.
The main advantages are:
- Only a small amount of the feed is wasted
- It prevents one animal consuming the ration of another.
To access the portion of the feed near the bottom of the bag, the horse needs to be able tolower it's head to the ground, allowing it to push it's nose into the end of the bag.
