How to Use

Position the jaws over each clinched nail end on the outside of the hoof wall and squeeze firmly to cut the clinch flush. Once all clinches are removed, the horseshoe can be eased off with pull-offs or a shoe puller without splitting the hoof.

Looking After Your Nail Nipper

Wipe the jaws clean after each use and lightly oil the pivot to prevent rust. Store dry alongside the rest of your farrier tools and replace if the cutting edges become chipped.
