Hoof Tester

Plier-style pincer for testing for bruised or painful spots inside the hoof. Used for determining where and how badly a hoof may be damaged.

How It Works

Place the end of one jaw on the suspected area and the other on the outside of the hoof wall, then exert pressure by closing the handles. The horse's reaction tells you exactly where the damaged area is and how sensitive or sore the hoof is.
