Saddle Dressage Supreme Solo

Dressage saddles are made with straight flaps, large knee rolls and deeper seats.  This helps the rider to maintain a proper dressage riding position, and it helps hold the rider in place over the horse's centre of gravity.  This enables the rider to have a secure and balanced position on the horse.

The deep seat allows the rider to sit deep and absorb the horse's motion.  This allows the rider to move with the horse and execute better dressage movements.

The long and straight flaps allow the rider to have a longer length in their legs, keeping them in the correct leg position and balanced.  This allows the rider to give more subtle leg aids to the horse, and keeps their legs in contact with the horse's sides at all times.  A rider's leg aids should be unnoticeable in dressage

The large knee rolls provide stability and support to the rider's legs

This saddle has a monoflap (single flap design).  This means there is only 1 layer of leather between the horse's side and the rider's legs.

This gives the rider a closer contact with the horse and allows them to communicate more easily with their legs and give better aids to the horse with less effort.

Made from quality English leather.  

Leather has a better grip than synthetic materials, and lasts much longer with proper care and oiling.  The grip is essential in dressage as it keeps the rider from slipping in the seat and holds the legs more securely to the horse's sides, preventing swinging legs and unstable body positions.

This saddle has a close contact panel to help the rider feel closer and more in tune to the horse’s movements.  The gullet is wool flocked and has a gusset for better fit and adjustability 

It has an adjustable gullet tree to fit all wither fits.  Wither sets are sold separately (GUL499)

It is best to have an adjustable wither fit saddle, as your horse changes shape over time and the saddle can be used for more than 1 horse.  

The gullet irons are easy to change, all you need is a screwdriver.
