Why You Should Not Soak It

This riempie is specially treated so it is ready to use straight away. Avoid soaking it: wet leather stretches as you work, then contracts tightly as it dries, which can over-tension and crack the seat or even break the furniture frame.

How to Use

Work the riempie under tension across the seat frame in your chosen weave, keeping the spacing even. Because it is pre-treated you can lace it dry and trust the tension to hold, without the shrink-back you get from soaked hide.
