DESCRIPTION
A hackamore is a bit that works on pressure points on the horse's face and poll.
It gives the rider control without a steel bit in the horse's mouth.
This hackamore has long steel shanks with a plaited leather noseband and an adjustable steel/ leather curb chain.
The longer shanks exert more pressure on the poll and give the rider more control and breaks. A sheepskin noseband sleeve can be used to cover the noseband if the pressure is too much
It is popular with show jumpers
Can be used for horses who have injuries in their mouths and horses that do not want to accept the bit
